The Reggio dock 'Marina Queen' has obtained the prestigious recognition which certifies it as a highly attractive tourist destination.

“We are pleased to announce with great satisfaction that, as of today, Marina Queen in Reggio Calabria has been officially designated as a Marina Resort.”
With this message on Facebook, R. Marine Group Srl shared the achievement of this prestigious milestone. Starting today, our city joins locations like Roccella Ionica and Tropea in finally boasting its own Marina Resort, fully complying with the regulations and standards of the international tourism sector, as better defined by the relevant standards.
"Structures organized for the stay and overnight accommodation of tourists within their own recreational units moored in the specifically equipped water basin."
"We hope for a fruitful collaboration with the Port Authority of the Strait, the Port Authority, and the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, to realize a collective vision that leads to significant growth in terms of hospitality, employment, and the image of our city, thus also expanding tourism. Important commercial opportunities are on the horizon for our future."
Furthermore, the Reggio Shipyard extended its thanks to all the staff and the team of the 'R. Marine Group'.

"We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the technicians and staff of the R. Marine Group who provided essential support and followed crucial guidelines for the company's development. A special thanks goes to our COO, Dr. Federico Rosmini, for his determination in leading and believing in this project, bringing R. Marine Group to new milestones in the nautical sector. After asserting the company's rights, which were upheld by the Council of State and the TAR as activities..."
"functional not only for the operation of an economic activity (repair, storage, and berthing of vessels), but also for a public utility service (assistance and so-called 'travel lift' service to the pilots of the Strait and to the Port Authority, State Police, Carabinieri, and Guardia di Finanza)."
We have formed a partnership with the company S&Y for the shelter and specialized maintenance of CP Class 300 vessels, as well as with the SAR units of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport engaged in sea rescue and search operations. This new step aligns with the goals the company aims to achieve by pursuing its activities in the nautical and tourism sectors with determination. The objective is to highlight the company's activities at a national level and to position Reggio Calabria as a center of excellence in Italy, ready to provide a safe base for anyone who transits, works, or has a passion for the sea.
